April Club News

Hello NSB Members,

It's been a busy few weeks with NSB taking part in the Australian Boardriders Battle held at Burleigh Heads at the beginning of March, followed by the Kirra Teams Challenge held at Kirra Beach two weeks later.  

ABB & KIRRA TEAMS

For those who missed our socials, our club placed fourth in the ABB in a spectacular show down against some of the country's best clubs.  We're super proud of our surfers who represented the club; Alistair Reginato, Blake Wilson,  Luke Brumby, Holly Williams and Landen Smales.  Congratulations to these surfers!

North Shore also entered a team to compete at the Kirra Teams Challenge held at Kirra Beach, and our group of young men placed 11th overall enjoying a great weekend of surfing and camaraderie.  Solid efforts from our competitors who included Noah Andrew, Noah Davies, Xavian Squires, Luke Brumby, Bryce Dwan, Dayyan Laws, Hurricane Martin, and Jack Reginato.  Well done team! 

SURFBOARD RAFFLE

The surfboard raffle will be drawn this weekend, keep an eye out for our socials to see if you're the lucky winner.  

MONTHLY CONTEST

We know there has been a wait between our monthly competitions, with the above competitions, school holidays, Easter and now the Aussie Titles being held at Maroochydore/Alex this weekend and next, we appreciate your patience while we work through to see if we can hold a competition at an alternative location soon.

North Shore Boardriders Club is proud to recognise all our surfers for their efforts in competitions and we feel it is important for our club members/surfers to know they have the support of this club, not matter the result - victory or defeat.  Taking part in contests takes courage and it helps to build resilience, graciousness, good sportsmanship and we hope that with our support we can build great community spirit.  Once again, keep an eye on our socials for updates regarding club rounds.
