NSB Surf & Turf Event

Hope you have all fared well over the last few months and are coping with the Covid world. Thankfully we have been good little Queenslanders and restrictions are being lifted for us some more. So it’s time to get social!

Talking with the committee, we would like to organise a tag team event on the beach following with lunch and golf day. This will be on a Sunday starting with a surf morning where you will be in a team of 4 for a tag team event then you stay in that same team for the afternoon to play a round of Ambrose.

Date to be confirmed, this post is purely to see an expression of interest. I would really like to get an idea of numbers who are keen for this social NSB Surf and turf event. This will be a fun day together and the points for the surfing tag team do not count towards our North Shore competition. There will be prizes along the way and of course bragging rights for the winners. It will also be a family day even if you are not surfing or playing golf we would love for you to be involved, it will be great on the beach cheering your fav team and I believe there is Putt Putt we could organise for the little little ones who are unable to play golf.

Please let me know you are interested as I would like to get things moving and organise something fairly soon and get back to you with more details.

Cheers everyone, looking forward to seeing you all again, don’t forget first comp back on the 12th of July, there will be some new things we have to comply to be covid safe including no BBQ will be operating so bring your own lunch and snacks and be sure to take your rubbish off the beach with you!
